Unknown Woman Artist

by John Tweddle

Any color or shape will provoke some emotion in somebody depending on the mood they happen to be in at the time. If you use a shape or color in some unexpected context, then it may be considered artistic.

Anything has color and form whether it is a scrap of plastic or a bird.

There is so much material, shapes, forms, colors, lines and endless variations on them all. So I just use whatever is there and available. I put together the piece, “Unknown Woman Artist” out of whatever materials I found at the moment or moments while I was working. A friend asked me if the piece was inspired by a real woman that I knew? Yes, it is but I won’t tell who she is, because then she will no longer be “Unknown” will she?
